Information We Collect

WebITUP ("we", "us", or "our") collects personal and technical data to deliver our custom web design, software platforms, and email campaign Services. We are committed to transparency regarding what details we gather.

1. Information Provided Directly by You

We collect personal information that you choose to submit when filling out inquiry forms, requesting service proposals, or during contract registrations. This includes:

  • Full Name and Job Title.
  • Company name and registered physical coordinates.
  • Contact details (primary email addresses, telephone numbers).
  • Specific project scopes, budgetary ranges, and operational requests.

2. Administrative Dashboard & Campaign Data

For dashboard administrators and users who operate our Visual Email composers, we store database records to manage configurations:

  • Administrative login credentials (usernames, hashed passwords, access configurations).
  • Subscribers lists uploaded by you to your dashboard (names, email addresses, and subscription dates).
  • Campaign metrics records: counts of email opens, links clicked, email delivery statuses, and ISP warning logs (bounces, spam complaint alerts).

3. Information Collected Automatically

When you access our public website or dashboards, we automatically track system connection details:

  • Technical metadata: Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, operating system version, and client user-agent strings.
  • Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, click coordinates, referral URLs, and language preferences.
02

How We Use Your Information

We utilize data to support our business functions and client relationships, including the following activities:

  • Service Fulfillment: Building custom platforms, designing frontend layouts, and configuring online bookings, maps, and Calendly workflows.
  • Campaign Dashboard Execution: Saving contact logs, grouping unsubscribed users, routing dispatch analytics, and processing delivery responses.
  • System Optimization & Security: Monitoring platform performance, conducting audit logs, verifying admin authorization levels, and preventing security breaches or SQL injection attempts.
  • Client Communications: Responding to contact form queries, coordinating design iterations, and dispatching administrative notices, invoices, or service updates.
03

Data Security & Retention

We deploy robust administrative, physical, and technical measures to protect collected databases from unauthorized modification, leakage, or loss.

Data Retention: We will retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes detailed in this policy, or to comply with statutory legal requirements under Indian accounting and IT legislation.

Subscribers lists uploaded to visual campaigns are kept intact until deleted by the admin or until the services are officially terminated. Database logs, metrics histories, and bounce records are archived or anonymized after eighteen (18) months of inactivity.

04

Third-Party Data Disclosures

WebITUP does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your subscribers lists to third-party brokers. Data is shared only with verified infrastructure partners essential to rendering our Services:

  • Hosting & Database Platforms: Vercel and Supabase are used to run our applications, APIs, and host encrypted databases.
  • Email Dispatch Providers: We integrate SMTP nodes (such as Resend, Amazon SES, or SendGrid) to route newsletters, track delivery metrics, and receive bounce webhooks.
  • Integrated Widgets: Third-party scheduling calendars (Calendly) and maps (Google Maps API) process data input by you or your end-users in accordance with their respective privacy structures.
  • Payment Gateways: Safe financial processing portals (Stripe, Razorpay) directly manage invoices and billing cards; WebITUP does not capture or archive credit card details on our local servers.
05

Your Data Rights (GDPR & CCPA Alignment)

Depending on your location, you may hold specific data rights under the **EU GDPR**, **CCPA**, and **Section 43A of the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000**:

  • Right to Access: You have the right to request copies of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: You can request that we update or correct any details you believe are inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You have the right to request that we delete your personal database rows under specific legal conditions, subject to necessary accounting record laws.
  • Right to Restrict or Object: You can object to our processing of your personal data or request that we restrict processing activities.
  • Right to Portability: You may request that we transfer collected data to another organization, or directly to you, in a structured, machine-readable format.

Cookies & Email Web Beacons

Our website and dashboard use cookies to improve user experience, maintain administrative login states, and analyze web traffic.

What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, save preferences, and provide analytics information to site operators. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings, though doing so might disable specific administrative functionalities on our dashboard.

Email Tracking Pixels (Web Beacons)

Our Visual Email Campaign composer utilizes web beacons (invisible tracking pixels) embedded in outgoing campaign emails. When a recipient opens an email, the pixel loads from our server, capturing:

  • Whether the email was opened,
  • The date and time of the opening,
  • And the links clicked inside the email body.

This metric is used solely by our dashboard administrators to track campaign performance, calculate engagement curves (Recharts timeline graphs), and update contact statuses.

07

Marketing Communications Opt-In

In strict alignment with global anti-spam regulations, WebITUP does not send marketing communications without prior opt-in consent:

If you wish to stop receiving our updates, you can click the **Unsubscribe** link present at the footer of our emails, or contact us directly. Upon unsubscribe, your status is immediately modified to "unsubscribed" in our database, preventing future dispatches.

08

Children's Privacy Protection

Our Services, web design portfolios, and visual marketing tools are designed for business operations and are not directed to individuals under the age of 18.

We do not knowingly collect, request, or compile personal identifiable information from children under the age of 18. If we discover that a child under 18 has submitted personal details through our forms, we will immediately purge the record from our database systems. If you believe we have accidentally collected data from a minor, please alert us at legal [at] webitupp [dot] online.

09

Policy Modifications & Updates

WebITUP reserves the right to revise or update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our legal obligations, platform security methods, or development practices.

When updates are published, we will modify the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant updates, we will place a notification banner inside the admin dashboard or send email notifications directly to registered administrators. We encourage you to review this page periodically to remain informed about how we safeguard your data.
